Spinel Spinel is the perfect class for girls with little to some gymnastics experience! Athletes are introduced to the fundamentals of gymnastics in a fun, supportive environment while building strength, coordination, and confidence. They will learn and improve basic skills on vault, bars, balance beam, and floor that prepare them for the next level. Tanzanite Tanzanite is a great next step for gymnasts who feel confident on all equipment and are ready to build on the basics. In this class, athletes refine skills like pull overs on bars, turns and jumps on the balance beam, vertical handstand and bridge kickover on floor, and vault techniques while continuing to grow their strength, coordination, and confidence. Topaz Topaz takes it up a notch with sharper skills and stronger technique across vault, bars, beam, and floor. In this class, athletes continue to build on skills such as front handsprings, kick-overs, leaps and dismounts. This class will push their skills further, building precision, power, and poise as they prepare for advanced levels. *Competitive Team Opportunity: Girls in this class are eligible to try out for our competitive team in the spring! Alexandrite Alexandrite is your gymnast’s next leap where they build on their foundation from earlier levels while adding power, flight, and connected passes. The curriculum introduces more advanced skills, such as back handsprings, front tucks, high bar transitions, and half-on/half-off vaults. Because these skills require greater strength, precision, and focus, this class time extends to 2 hours to provide the extra training time athletes need to succeed. *Competitive Team Opportunity: Girls in this class are eligible to try out for our competitive team in the spring! Details and communications will be sent out closer to tryout dates. Ruby Ruby is designed for gymnasts that are fierce, focused, and ready to take on high-level skills. Athletes in this class work on twisting beam dismounts, double full turns, connected back tumbling passes, walkover connections on beam, flyaway dismounts on bars, and more.
